I was born in Texas a long time ago... my family then consisted of my Mother, Father & 6 siblings. We traveled a lot throughout my childhood & into my teen years, my mother was from Canada so we traveled there & to many states around the USA for my Dad's business. Our Dad liked us to be exposed to many places, foods & experiences. Our education was benefited by the things we were able to do & see in our travels, providing a wide & varied experiences. which complimented our regular school time. I was always an artist & began a more serious study of creating art when I was about 8 yrs old. Once I graduated HS, I got married & 17 years later, welcomed my handsome, wonderful son who is the light of my life. I finally attended college at 41, graduating with honors & received an Associates Degree in Graphic Design & Fine Art Studio. When my boy was only 14 we lost his dad to cancer, it was a difficult transition for both of us. For a long time after my husband passed I worked various jobs & let go of my art creation for awhile. As the years have gone by, we've managed to continue having joy in our lives & my dear son has 4 children of his own. I got back to my art creation awhile ago & now I spend more time on it than ever, making a portion of my income from my art business. I'm interested in many things & have a passion for learning, so I continue to educate myself using the many sources that have come along in recent years along with books etc...
I love to help others to create their lives to include joy & faith. We all have free agency, a gift from God, that gives us responsibility to create our own experiences & live our dreams to a greater degree than we imagine, by simply focusing on what we want instead of what we don't want, relying on our faith that God answers most of our prayers if we will just believe in His power to provide & His great love for each of us. Most of our experiences in life are those that we invite, wanted or not wanted. Only rarely things we have no control over come into our lives, perhaps for us to learn something or give us opportunity to experience parts of life that we might not otherwise have. I have found that our attitude & control over our thoughts & emotions can change everything,. Helping us out of thinking ourselves a victim of life to having more of all we desire by taking responsibility & learning to use the free agency given to each of us by God. I have taught classes on this subject to both groups & individuals & am always amazed at the results for people once they realize how much control we really have.
I'm also into animals, gardening, homesteading subjects & like building things. My purpose is to live in joyfulness & to help others see the beauty of this world through my art & my knowledge of personal development.
